- 07/08/2010: have some the world's largest grain trader for 4 years extended an existing moratorium on growing soy in the Amazon region for a year.
- 07/07/2010: the European Union after 10 years of struggle of several environmental organizations approved a law under which only legally harvested wood may be imported.
- 07/06/2010: immediately applicable according to EU regulation stricter rules for pesticide levels in fruits and vegetables.
- 28.05.2010: under strong public pressure is the French nuclear energy company Areva off supplies of radioactive waste to Russia after 38 years. These deliveries were uncovered by Greenpeace, then followed worldwide protests.
- 17/05/2010: leading paper manufacturer in Canada with various environmental organizations signed an agreement with the 72 million hectares (more than Bayern) boreal forest in protected areas transformed and ecologically sustainable forest management can be introduced.
- 17/05/2010: Nestlé bends sharply after Greenpeace has organized massive worldwide protests against the use of non-certified palm oil (= oil plantations on illegally deforested rain forest area). Now only palm oil from certified sources is used.
